Custom patios, flagstone paths & natural stone walkways — designed for Hamilton's climate and built to last a lifetime.
Every Hamilton backyard is different. Here are the most popular patio styles we build — tap any to see examples.

The most popular choice in Hamilton. Interlocking stone patios offer the perfect balance of beauty, durability, and repairability. Individual stones can be lifted and releveled if needed — no cracking like concrete. Available in hundreds of patterns and colours.
Your front walkway is the first thing every guest experiences at your home. A cracked concrete path or uneven stepping stones creates an immediate negative impression. A beautifully designed interlock or flagstone walkway announces the quality of everything behind it — and adds real property value.
Interlock, flagstone, or natural stone paths from driveway to front door. Crisp, welcoming, curb-appeal-defining.
Winding stepping stone or flagstone paths through garden beds. Functional and beautiful.
Practical, level, properly drained pathways along the side of your home.

The right patio layout means your morning ritual gets an upgrade. We design for furniture placement, sun orientation, and privacy from day one.
Hamilton summers are short and worth every minute. A beautiful patio doubles your entertaining space and becomes the destination for every gathering.
A professionally installed patio adds an average of 8–12% to home resale value in the Hamilton market — one of the highest ROI home improvement projects available.
We visit your property, measure the space, discuss your lifestyle, furniture plans, and budget. We walk you through material options with physical samples. No pressure — just a real conversation.
We prepare a site plan, material selection proposal, and a detailed fixed-price quote. You see exactly what you're getting and exactly what it costs before any work starts.
We excavate to the correct depth for your application. Drainage planning happens here — water management determines whether your patio stays beautiful for 5 years or 25.
Compacted granular base in lifts, geotextile fabric, bedding layer — built to manufacturer specs. This is the invisible work that separates our patios from the ones that sink and shift.
Stone is laid in your chosen pattern, cut precisely, bordered, and checked for level throughout. Our crew has done this hundreds of times — the speed and quality show.
Jointing compound, final compaction, full property cleanup. We walk the project with you before we leave. Nothing is done until you're satisfied.
Honest pricing. Every job gets a custom quote — these ranges help you plan.
* Ranges based on typical Hamilton projects. Exact price depends on stone type, square footage, drainage needs, and site conditions.
Every patio starts with a design consultation where we map furniture placement, sun path, privacy, and drainage before a single shovel goes in the ground.
Hamilton's freeze-thaw cycles are brutal on patios with poor base work. Our bases are built specifically for Southern Ontario's climate — the same stone survives 30 winters.
Most contractors stick to one or two materials. We work fluently in interlock, flagstone, natural stone, large format slab, and mixed materials — giving you real design choice.
You approve the quote. We build it. The price doesn't change unless you change the scope. That's a promise.
Full protection on every project. Always ask any contractor for proof of insurance before work begins.

"We wanted a patio we'd actually use — not just something that looked good in a photo. Antoine Landscape Contractors' team listened to exactly how we entertain and designed the layout around our lifestyle. The finished patio is perfect."
"The flagstone pathway through our backyard has completely transformed the garden. The crew was professional, respectful of our plants, and the workmanship is beautiful. We've gotten so many compliments."
"Three seasons later, the patio hasn't moved a millimetre. No sinking, no shifting, no issues. The base work they did is clearly the reason. Worth every penny."
A properly installed patio needs very little maintenance. Here's what we recommend by season.
Rinse with garden hose to remove winter debris. Check jointing sand — top up any areas where sand has washed out with fresh polymeric sand. Check for any frost heave in edge areas — usually self-settles as ground thaws.
Spot-clean any stains with mild dish soap and water — avoid acid-based cleaners. Sweep regularly to prevent algae growth in shaded areas. Re-apply sealant every 3–5 years if you've chosen to seal.
Leaf removal is important — organic matter left on stone can cause staining and algae. Blow or sweep regularly in fall. Clear drainage channels before freeze-up.
Use plastic shovels only — metal damages stone surface and interlock edges. Use calcium chloride or sand for traction — avoid rock salt which can damage stone and concrete products. Never use metal-bladed snow blowers directly on interlock.

Small patios (under 200 sq ft) typically start around $3,500–$7,000. Mid-size patios run $7,000–$14,000. Large outdoor living spaces can reach $20,000–$50,000+. The main factors are square footage, material choice, base complexity, and drainage requirements. We provide free custom quotes.
Interlocking stone and natural stone are the top performers in Hamilton's freeze-thaw climate. They flex slightly with ground movement without cracking. Large format concrete/porcelain slabs are beautiful but require perfect base work. Flagstone is excellent when properly set on a compacted base.
Most residential patios take 3–7 days on site. A simple 12×16 patio may take 2–3 days. A large outdoor living space with steps, walls, and drainage can take 1–2 weeks. We'll give you an accurate timeline before work begins.
Most patios don't require a permit in Hamilton. Patios attached to the home or elevated above grade may require one. Retaining walls combined with the patio project may need permits if above a certain height. We assess this during your consultation.
Absolutely — in fact, slopes often create the most interesting patio opportunities. We work with the grade using terracing, retaining walls, and multi-level designs. Proper drainage planning is even more important on sloped lots, which we handle thoroughly.
Dry-laid flagstone sits on a compacted sand/gravel base without mortar — it moves slightly with frost and can be easily repaired or releveled. Mortared flagstone is set in concrete — more rigid and prone to cracking in freeze-thaw climates unless the base is perfectly engineered. We typically recommend dry-laid for Hamilton.
Sealing is optional. It can enhance colour and reduce staining but requires reapplication every 3–5 years. Many homeowners skip sealing entirely — quality stone weathers beautifully without it. We'll advise based on your specific material choice.
